Yup, We’re Twins!
That is the first thing people ask when they call or meet us in person.
WE ARE MIRROR TWINS
We came into this world mirroring each other. If you are not familiar with the term Mirror Twins, it simply means we are the same but opposite. Our Mom used to say, together we make a dynamic team. Little did we know that we would be able to use that trait to our advantage this late in life but we have mastered this phenomenon. We once read Mirror twins may display different characteristics due to brain hemisphere dominance. One may be more creative ( that’s Peggy) and one may be more analytical ( that’s Patty) Working as REALTORS helping home buyers and sellers was a natural fit for us.
The Art of Working Together
That was learned early. It was back in 1970. Peggy was hired for her first real paying job at German Resturant when she was about 15 years of age to be a coat check girl. She quickly realized that meant she would have to work every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. So no basketball games, no babysitting jobs, no going out on a date or going to a school dance. So, we came up with a solution together. The idea was that Patty would sneak into the restaurant after Peggy was already at work. Patty would hide under the coats to learn how to do the job. Success! Patty quickly learned and the problem was solved. They would split the money and only have to work every other weekend at the restaurant. No one was ever the wiser. The only challenge was all the money came to Peggy via her paycheck and she had to split it with Patty. We worked that way for an entire winter season in Upstate New York and no one knew. Well, except Mom, she had to drop us off, did but I think she was more amused than anything. Or, possibly proud. Looking back….everyone probably knew. But we were just two little girls working together to solve a problem, do a service for others and make money.
The Twins Today…
We use our dominant characteristics they we were born with, to create a successful real estate team called the Twins Selling Real Estate. Peggy and Patty bring over twenty-five years or resale and new home sales experience to each and every real estate transaction. “Experience Matters” We help people just like you with their real estate needs. How do you choose? You don’t have to. Peggy is the creative one and she is passionate about marketing, helping people solve challenges and uses her decades of real estate knowledge in the Prince William County Virginia area to guide home sellers from the very first steps of getting a home ready to sell, listing a home, marketing a home and helping and coaching the seller to a successful close. Patty, on the other hand, is an awesome Buyers Agent. She uses her analytical brain every day. She loves numbers, and helping homes buyers figure out the how, the when and where to buy a home. Something that will benefit you if you call. Patty over the years has worked with three national new home builders and has extension knowledge she uses to help every home buyer. Whether you want to buy a new construction home or a resale home. You definitely would want Patty Blackwelder representing your interest.
